A westerly upper-level flow will continue to carry moist, unstable air masses towards the Alps.
The sun is expected to shine at times across most of the region. As the day progresses, a few thunderstorms will move in from the west, some of which may be severe in places.
More stable air masses will reach the alpine region.
On Thursday, the sun will shine across much of the region: any remaining morning clouds will clear, and the cumulus clouds will generally remain harmless throughout the day. Overnight, the likelihood of thunderstorms will increase again.

On Sunday, there will be plenty of sunshine and the likelihood of thunderstorms will decrease compared with the previous days. On Monday, it will be sunny to begin with. In the afternoon, there will be a few rain showers or thunderstorms.
